Live With Limitation

One of my favorite things to do with my kids is to fill up the gas and wash our car in the automatic car wash. It’s our simple happiness. Just like the car, you know for sure that the full tank will be empty soon, and the car will be dirty again and again. If you don’t want your gas to be empty or your car to get a spot of dirt, you need to keep the car in the garage. In other words, you don’t use it all—it becomes useless or less meaningful.

The same goes for our lives. You could run out of energy to live, and life could hit you with tons of shit. The question is, do you stop just because you run out and get knocked out? Yes, you can stop if you want to. But it would be a waste of life. Most of the time, hopefully, you find another strength. You get some rest, recharge your energy, and get up again. It’s live! It’s not always happy, sunny, and warm. Sometimes, hard rain, storms, snow, and slippery roads will come. That makes life alive. To experience the high and the low.

The question is: when do you need to be recharged, and who is your source? You can’t live without the energy ‘gas’. You can barely function when you are depleted.

And when you know your ‘tank’ is limited, will you use your life as best possible?

Once again, my health is limited. My lungs collapsed again, which means I can’t do much activity like I normally do in my life. I can walk for up to 10 minutes — more than that, my oxygen level drops significantly. Nothing that I can do to make it better. I need to wait for the doctors to do the treatment and miracles. I know my source is Jesus, and He has already given me more than enough. I will do the best I can, even with the limitations. One of them is to write this story. Control what you can control. The rest? Things that are out of our control? I surrender it to God.

So, don’t forget to fill up your gas! And use your lives to the best, and give meaning to them.
