King Salomon said when you're feeling lazy, learn from the ant.
Ant is a simple brainer creature - This means they have no ability to complex thinking: creativity, critical thought, and logic. Therefore, no boss, no manager, no rank; no one has to tell them what to do. 

The ant only lives six months yet stores more food than it will ever consume. The AMP translation said that they prepare food in summer and give provisions in winter.

The hidden side notes from TPT Translation Proverbs 6:11 said:

'We should learn the wisdom of preparing for the future and have good management in the present.'

What does it all mean for our daily life? There are three things that I learn.

Preparing The Future

The ant prepares more than they need. So ask ourselves: 

Do you have an emergency fund? Do you have a pension fund? How do you manage your finance today?

The Integrity - No Boss

Ant doesn't have anyone to supervise what they do or tell them what to do. This quality is about integrity and character. 

Can you work without any supervisor or boss? Do you still do your best? I think every company and parent would love it if anyone in their team could do these things. 

Be Simple Brainer

The Lazy Feeling. What makes people lazy? Yes, there are some people that lazy. But I think there are other types of laziness because: 

You lose HOPE (it makes you feel you don't want to do anything.)

You forgot WHY you do what you do.

You can't see WHAT the result is. 

You don't know HOW to do it.

In other words, you overthink.

When we are in this situation, we need to switch out our complex brains and be simple brainer. So keep on going to work with what you have in your hand. Like an ant when they are wonder around to seek food. They keep on moving until they find it. Can we do that? It looks simple, but the reality is not.
