You may not have the authority to make rules or change the rules. It doesn’t mean you don’t have power. Your voice has the power of influence.

Speak up! Speak from your heart. Speak the truth with kindness. There’s some people out there need to hear your voice and the truth. Use every opportunity to speak up. Specially when it really matter for your value, community and life of other people.

Don’t be discourage, some people will try to make you silent. Some will even be harsh on you. Expect that will happen.

When you speak..

The goal is not to change them. The goal is to say what is in your heart. Shows that’s there’s another way, point of view, thought or ideas.

This is what I called “Hope for the best, expect for nothing”. There’s a big change that the people who have the authority, they don’t want listen. But, if you don’t speak up and no one bring the truth to the surface; that’s also your fault. Because you choose to be silent. I know, sometimes it feels scary to speak up. Specially if you are from the culture that are not used to speak or if you have insecure leader.

If they want to listen, that’s like a cherry on top of ice cream. In other words, that’s a bonus. If they don’t want to listen, it’s fine. Once again. It’s not about them. It’s about you! Your voice is matter.
